A woman was rushed to hospital on Friday following a serious workplace incident on the Gold Coast.
Emergency services, including a High Acuity Response Unit officer, attended the scene in Yatala just before 11 am after reports of a workplace incident.
When crews arrived, they found a woman who had suffered a ‘significant head injury.’
The woman was treated by the critical care paramedics at the scene before being transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
It’s understood that she is now in a stable condition. WorkSafe Queensland is expected to launch an investigation into the incident.
