Worker injured in gas cylinder explosion

A Queensland worker has been transported to hospital after an incident where a gas cylinder exploded.

The man, 41, from Pittsworth, west of Brisbane, sustained serious burns to his face.

He was transported via RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Helicopter to the Toowoomba Hospital.

He was later transferred to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
