Trinitas Group was engaged by Randwick City Council to undertake a detailed site investigation and asbestos management works at Little Bay Beach following repeated discoveries of asbestos-containing materials on the sand and in the soil. The project gained significant media attention due to the temporary closure of this popular Sydney beach to protect public safety. Trinitas played a key role in the investigation, community consultation support, and remediation oversight to safely address the contamination issue on this iconic coastal site.

Our scope of works included Detailed Site Investigation, Data Gap Investigation, Remediation Action Plan, Asbestos Management Plan, Asbestos control air monitoring, Visual clearance inspections and certificates, Waste Analysis and Classification, and Site Remediation and Validation Reports. Through thorough investigation and rigorous air monitoring and clearance procedures, Trinitas helped ensure the beach was safely remediated and returned to the community with full regulatory compliance.
