Trinitas Group was engaged as the lead environmental consultant to oversee contaminated land management and implementation of the Remediation Action Plan for the upgrade of Howley Park Reserve in Drummoyne. This community-focused foreshore project, delivered for the City of Canada Bay, is enhancing one of the area’s popular waterfront parks on the Parramatta River. Working closely with principal contractor Greater West Landscapes, Trinitas provided expert environmental oversight to ensure the site was safely remediated prior to the delivery of new park infrastructure.

Our scope of works included Project Data Review, Material import assessments, Waste Analysis and Classifications, Acid Sulphate Soils Management, Site Remediation and Validation Report, and preparation of the Long Term Environmental Management Plan (EMP). Through rigorous oversight and delivery of these services, Trinitas ensured full regulatory compliance and that the site was made suitable for its intended public park use.

The upgraded reserve will feature improved accessibility with a new pedestrian ramp and wider footpaths, enhanced foreshore access including informal stairs to the water, new tree plantings and landscaping, terraced sandstone seating, upgraded parking, and more welcoming public spaces. The project is expected to be completed in mid-2026.
