Timbrell Park Precinct
Project description
Trinitas Group was engaged as the lead environmental consultant to oversee contaminated land management and implementation of the Remediation Action Plan for the upgrade of Timbrell Park Precinct in Five Dock. This major community project, delivered for the City of Canada Bay, is transforming the large harbour-side park into a modern, high-quality multi-sport and recreational precinct for local residents and sporting groups. Working closely with principal contractor Regal Innovations, Trinitas provided expert oversight throughout the remediation and earthworks phase.
Our scope of works included Project Data Review, Material import assessments, Waste Analysis and Classifications, Acid Sulphate Soils Management, Site Remediation and Validation Report, and preparation of the Long Term Environmental Management Plan (EMP). Through rigorous oversight and delivery of these services, Trinitas ensured full regulatory compliance and that the site was made suitable for its intended public park and sporting use.
The upgraded precinct features re-turfed and re-levelled sports fields with improved drainage, modern sports field lighting, new shared paths, enhanced parking and landscaping, playground upgrades, and a new amenities building — creating a vibrant recreational hub on the Iron Cove foreshore. Works are progressing in stages as part of the adopted Timbrell Park Masterplan.
