Strathfield Train Station

Project description
During a recent Sydney Trains rail shutdown at Strathfield Station, Trinitas Group was engaged to deliver specialist asbestos remediation support to the project team on this critical infrastructure upgrade.
Our scope included comprehensive asbestos management works, on-site establishment of a temporary NATA-accredited asbestos laboratory, and the delivery of same-day asbestos air monitoring results. This rapid on-site capability enabled expedited clearance inspections and significantly reduced project downtime that would typically occur while awaiting external laboratory turnaround.
In addition, Trinitas provided continuous site supervision by experienced Licensed Asbestos Assessors, visual clearance inspections, and issuance of clearance certificates throughout the works. The combination of our mobile laboratory, real-time air monitoring, and proactive hygienist oversight ensured all asbestos-related activities were completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with SafeWork NSW requirements.
This project highlights the significant value of Trinitas Group’s on-site asbestos testing capability and expert environmental management on time-critical rail infrastructure projects, where every hour of downtime impacts thousands of passengers.
