Meriton, Zetland Square

Project description
Trinitas Group is proud to have delivered specialist contaminated land and environmental consulting services for the landmark Zetland Square redevelopment, formerly the Suttons building at the corner of Epsom Road and Link Road, Zetland. This complex 36-month remediation project supported Meriton Group’s major high-density residential development, part of a multi-stage project with an estimated development cost exceeding $500 million.
Working in close partnership with head contractor Meriton Group and civil & remediation contractor Earthworx Group, Trinitas managed the entire spectrum of remediation activities required to transform the former industrial site into a safe, residential-ready precinct in one of Sydney’s fastest-growing inner-city areas.
Our comprehensive deliverables included Data Gap Investigation, Dewatering Management Plan, Underground Storage Tank (UST) Removal Plan and validation certificates, Acid Sulfate Soils Assessment and Management Plan, Material Import Assessments, Waste Analysis and Classification, asbestos control air monitoring, visual clearance inspections and certificates, and five staged Site Remediation and Validation Reports.
Following the successful implementation of the Remediation Action Plan, multiple EPA Site Audit Statements were issued, confirming full regulatory compliance and that the site is suitable for the proposed high-density residential use.
