Trinitas Group was engaged to provide contaminated land consulting services for the redevelopment of the historic Glenferrie Lodge in Kirribilli. Originally built in the late 19th century as a grand guesthouse, this iconic heritage building on Carabella Street is being sensitively transformed into a luxury boutique hotel. Located in one of Sydney’s most prestigious harbourside suburbs, the site enjoys spectacular views across Sydney Harbour, the Harbour Bridge, and the Opera House.

The project presents unique challenges, including tight urban access, significant heritage constraints, and the need to manage potential contamination risks associated with the building’s long history. Works will be carried out with careful consideration for the surrounding residential properties and the sensitive foreshore environment.

Our involvement includes contaminated land reporting and ongoing remediation oversight during construction. This ensures the project meets all NSW EPA requirements while preserving the heritage character of this landmark Kirribilli site.
