Trinitas Group was engaged as the lead environmental consultant to oversee contaminated land management and implementation of the Remediation Action Plan for the upgrade of F.S. Garside Park in Granville. This $17 million community project, delivered for the City of Parramatta, has transformed the existing park into a modern, safe, and high-quality recreational space for local residents in Western Sydney. Working closely with head contractor Greater West Landscapes and remediation contractor Aztech Services Australia, Trinitas provided expert oversight throughout the remediation phase.

Our scope of works included Asbestos Control Air Monitoring, Visual asbestos clearance inspections and certificates, Material import assessments, Waste Analysis and Classifications, Acid Sulphate Soils Management, Marker Layer Assessments, Site Remediation and Validation Report, and preparation of the Long Term Environmental Management Plan (EMP). Through rigorous oversight and delivery of these services, Trinitas ensured full regulatory compliance and that the site was made suitable for its intended public park use. The upgraded park, featuring new playground equipment, enhanced landscaping with native planting, improved pathways and lighting, additional shaded seating areas, and upgraded drainage and irrigation systems, was completed in 2025.
