Trinitas Group provided specialist environmental consulting and remediation services for the upgrade of Edgley Street Reserve in Surry Hills, a City of Sydney project. This community-focused upgrade transformed a small urban reserve into a welcoming local pocket park for residents in one of Sydney’s vibrant inner-city suburbs. Working closely with head contractor Regal Innovation, Trinitas delivered comprehensive environmental services throughout the remediation and park upgrade works on this $2.8 million project.

Our scope of works included Preliminary Waste Analysis and Classification Report, Visual clearance inspections and certificates, Material import assessments, ENM Assessments, Marker Layer Assessments, Site Remediation and Validation Report, preparation of the Long Term Environmental Management Plan (EMP), and the issuance of the NSW EPA Site Audit Statement. Following successful remediation works, the NSW EPA Site Audit Statement was issued, confirming full regulatory compliance and that the site is suitable for its intended public park use.

The upgraded reserve now features a children’s playground with swings and play equipment, shaded timber seating areas, landscaped garden beds with native planting, and improved pathways. The prominent forest-themed mural on the adjacent building wall adds a vibrant artistic element, creating a pleasant and inviting space for local families and residents to enjoy.
