Trinitas Group recently welcomed Peter Kirby to the team as Senior Work Health and Safety Consultant (QLD). Peter will be located at our Brisbane office and will be responsible for overseeing our continued expansion into Queensland (QLD).
Peter’s passion is not only assisting businesses to ensure that their workers go home safely, but also assisting businesses in contributing positively to our community.
Peter arrives at Trinitas Group as a seasoned WHS Professional with over 17 years’ experience working across various industries. Over the past 11 years Peter worked with Catholic Church Insurance Ltd where he held various roles including Senior Risk Consultant and Risk Services Manager NSW/ACT.
Peter has Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, together with qualifications in WHS, Business Continuity and Hygiene. Peter is also a Licensed Asbestos Assessor who has successfully delivered National asbestos building inspection programs for Catholic organisations. Recent examples include The Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney, The Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, The Catholic Diocese of Ballarat and the Australian Catholic University.
Peter has also held long-term roles working as a Safety Consultant within Government Departments; such as Family and Community Services as well as Not-for-Profit organisations that provided services to high-risk populations and communities.
Peter’s passion is not only assisting businesses to ensure that their workers go home safely, but also helping businesses truly understand how their safety obligations lead to outcomes that go beyond their business; through positive impacts achieved within the communities they serve.
