Workplace fatality at Dandenong

A worker has been killed in a workplace incident in Melbourne’s south-east yesterday morning.

It is understood that the 61-year-old worker was killed at a storage facility when he was using a reach stacker. He was struck by a steel panel that fell from a storage rack.

WorkSafe Victoria has confirmed it is investigating the circumstances around the incident.

It brings the workplace fatality to five in the state so far this year.
