Police and Queensland Work Health and Safety are investigating the circumstances of a fatal workplace accident in the Cairns Tablelands.
A WHS inspector and forensic crash officers from QLD Police attended the scene of an accident in Peeramon on Friday, where a man in his sixties was killed in an accident involving farm machinery.
Paramedics attended the scene around 9 pm on Friday but were unable to save the man, who died at the scene.
Initial reports indicate the man was involved in a tractor rollover.
Pending the police investigation, a report will be prepared for the coroner.
