A worker has been confirmed as killed after being run over by a truck and trailer at a Yarraville transport depot on Wednesday last week.
Early reports indicate that the man, in his sixties, was directing a co-worker to reverse a truck and trailer combo into a storage facility when he tripped and fell into the path of the reversing vehicle.
WorkSafe Victoria has confirmed it is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
It brings the total number of workplace fatalities in Victoria to 60, for the year to date, which is four more than the same time last year.
