A maritime worker has been confirmed as a reported workplace fatality, after an incident off the coast of Mandorah on Sunday evening.
The 39-year-old deckhand is believed to have fallen overboard.
Both the Northern Territory Police and Worksafe are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
A spokesman for NT Worksafe explained that the specific circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, and he wasn’t able to make a comment at this point in time.
NT Police have confirmed they are preparing a report for the coroner.
