A construction worker has been seriously injured after falling approximately two metres from a crane on a construction site in Melbourne.
The accident occurred just before 7am at a worksite in Melbourne’s Southbank.
The worker is being treated for serious head and back injuries.
Specialist paramedics were required alongside firefighters to bring the man to ground level following the incident, and a specialist crane bucket was needed to rescue the worker.
