WorkCover Improvement Notice

We analyse all improvement notices your organisation may receive, set out an action plan, send that plan to WorkCover and help you start rectifying the identified problems.

We will communicate to WorkCover on your behalf and ensure the notices are completed within a timely manner. The last thing your organisation wants to do is ignore or forget the Improvement Notices. That may lead to a fine. It may even lead to a Prohibition Notice being issue

Take the Improvement Notices as an opportunity to improve your WHS Management System and we will guide you through the appropriate changes. If you require, we can fully take-over the Development and Implementation of your WHS system and save you and your company from unnecessary publication, fines and possible damage to your reputation

Safety Management Systems

Our WHS Consultants can develop Policies, Procedures and Forms specific to your business needs. We can develop your Safety Management System to comply with AS/NZS 4801:2001 - Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and guide you through the accreditation process.

Workstation Ergonomic Assessments

The aim of our Workstation Ergonomic Assessments are to identify potential risk factors for an individuals using a workstation and to provide them with strategies to minimise the risk of injury.

An ergonomic assessment involves analysing how an individual interacts with their workstation, their job requirements and the products they are using. We can make recommendations to your employees about posture, rest and stretch breaks etc. We can also provide notice of requirements for special equipment.

Work From Home Assessments

Home Office Assessments are a combination of an Independent Risk Assessment and an Ergonomic Workstation Assessment conducted at an employee’s home.

Additional health and safety information is required for home office assessments to ensure that safety processes are in place to mitigate the likelihood of an injury. Where employees are working from home, it is advisable to conduct a home office assessment to ensure that the work environment complies with the organisations WHS Management System and WHS Legislation.

Hazard Identification Audits

Our consultants can undertake Health and Safety Inspection Audits at your workplace. The inspections are a formalised evaluation of workplace conditions and work practices documenting and providing advice on compliance with relevant WHS legislation.

We provide comprehensive reasonably practicable recommendations as part of the hazard identification process and can work together with businesses during the entire implementation and review process

Hazardous Substances / Dangerous Goods Audits

We have the expertise to conduct audits of your hazardous substance inventories. During the audit process we provide you with a comprehensive inventory and segregation list and identify recommendations which will assist your business in meeting mandatory WHS requirements.

Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)

Safe Work Method Statements are a task-based risk assessment required for all high-risk construction work. SWMS consist of a step-by-step break down of the task, risks and controls to mitigate the likelihood of an injury.

A SWMS has several legal requirements mandated by your regulator. Our SWMS experts can help develop SWMS by developing templates, consulting with employees and contractors to develop content and review your SWMS to ensure they meet legal requirements.

Incident Investigations

If something goes wrong and a workplace incident occurs, the best way of ensuring that the incident is not repeated is by thoroughly investigating the root cause and implementing the necessary controls to manage the risk.

You can tap into our qualified investigators to ensure that your incident investigations are both professional and independent of your organisational factors.

Our investigators will discover the root cause of the issue and enable your business to make changes which satisfy the state regulator, management and employee requirements.
